I am writing to log a complaint regarding severe damage to the concrete pathway and the drainage infrastructure in our locality.
As shown in the attached photographs:
Broken Concrete Pathway: The concrete surface of the alleyway is severely eroded, cracked, and full of potholes/rubble, making walking extremely hazardous for residents, especially children and senior citizens.
Exposed & Damaged Water Pipes / Leaks: Water pipes running along the wall and ground appear exposed and damaged, leading to ongoing water leakage and continuous seepage along the narrow alley.
Drain Blockage & Sewage Stagnation: Wastewater is accumulating near the drain outlets due to poor drainage flow, creating stagnant, soapy, and murky water. Moss growth across the path makes the surface highly slippery.
This ongoing accumulation of water poses a major health risk by becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes and insects, while also damaging the foundation of adjacent walls.
Requested Action:
Repair and resurface the damaged concrete path.
Inspect, fix, and securely align the exposed water pipeline to prevent leaks.
